What’s On

We’ve lots going on in the Ingleton area with something to interest you throughout the year. Main annual events include

 1940’s Weekend, Overground Underground Festival, Ingleton Gala & Mountain Race and Sheafstock. Ingleton also hosts its very own cycle sportive, Escape to the Dales.

From family friendly to the more specialised, you’re bound to find something to take part in and enjoy.

Wooden Spoon Carving Workshops – note dates for beginners and improvers. @ Broadrake
Apr 4 @ 10:00 am – 4:30 pm

Steve will guide you safely, step-by-step, through the traditional skills of this increasingly popular craft. From a fresh greenwood log, axe work is used to create the basic form. Two different knives and different carving techniques are then mastered to create a beautiful kitchen utensil.

No experience is needed for beginners courses – 4th April. The Improvers workshop – 5th April,  is aimed at those who have already started to spoon carve & want to refine their technique and learn the finer details.Come on both the beginners and improvers workshops for £160
