Events by Date Order
Escape to the Dales Cycle Sportive takes in some of the best cycling in the area, Start time is between 8.00 and 10.00 and finish up til 5.00pm With two routes, there is something for everybody. Designed and run by YDG instructors who have more than 40 years’ experience in mountain rescue, these days are aimed at adult walkers and are about keeping safe and more importantly what to do if your day goes wrong or you come across someone else who needs help.
Where: Meet up at the YDG Barn at Stainforth and then walking in the area. Directions given when place(s) booked.
Cost: Normally £65 per person or £120 for two but only £60 or £110 for two if quote OGUGYDG
Access: Not suitable for wheelchairs and buggies

Perfect for the absolute beginner to somebody that’s been climbing for years.
There is a qualified instructor on hand to help get everybody off the ground. Our Monday beginner session is still the best place to learn to climb.
All you need to do is come down to the wall, any time between 6-9pm for a beginner session with one of our instructors. All equipment supplied at no extra cost. Only £8.00 per adult. £6.00 for juniors. It is run as a drop in session so call down to the Climbing Wall (up by the side of Langfords in the village centre) & stay an hour or stay for the full three hours. It’s up to you.
