What’s On

We’ve lots going on in the Ingleton area with something to interest you throughout the year. Main annual events include

 1940’s Weekend, Overground Underground Festival, Ingleton Gala & Mountain Race and Sheafstock. Ingleton also hosts its very own cycle sportive, Escape to the Dales.

From family friendly to more specialised, you’re bound to find something to take part in and enjoy. Browse through the calendar for regular events, weekly, monthly and annual, welcoming locals and visitors. Please see the details for advance booking requirements and accessibility.

Rock & Roll Bingo in aid of St John’s Hospice @ The Masons Freehouse

A music quiz with a difference! In aid of St John’s Hospice. £5 per ticket including nibbles plus a game of Jackpot Bingo. Tickets limited and can be purchased from behind the bar. Arrive for 8pm first game starts at 8.30pm.

On December weekends before Christmas the cave will have a festive theme, with special illuminations and effects. Father Christmas will be in the Battlefield Cavern,  with lots of presents for children.

Admission times (weather permitting) from 11am, with last entry at 3pm. Booking is not required.

Please note that these arrangements replace the standard tour, which operates during the rest of the year.

Children’s Christmas Baking @ Seasons Artisan School

Suitable for up to 15 years of age. One parent/guardian must be present during the session.

With the Seasons’ Christmas Elves leading the session our young bakers will be making Christmas biscuits from scratch.

With the Christmas cookies in the oven attention turns to our delicious gingerbread men and transforming them into fabulous festive Santas!

Alongside all the baked goodies our young bakers will also take home a Seasons Gift Bag.

Learn to Crochet @ Craftopia

Come and learn to crochet at Craftopia with Melanie!

If you’re an absolute beginner and would like to learn the basics then this is the course for you! You’ll come out with a project and a lovely new skill!

Lunch is provided and of course there will be tea and cake throughout the day.

You will also receive 10% off your Craftopia purchases on the day!

We will provide everything you need. You will learn all the basics to be able to make a cute tea-cosy (you can turn it into a bag if tea isn’t your thing) Lunch and refreshments are also included.

This course is for absolute beginners.

Once you’ve booked, please let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend the workshop for any reason. If we are able to fill the place we will of course give you a full refund. If however we cannot fill the place, then unfortunately we are unable to refund the cost.

 Jo from @craftykitcompany is coming to do a 2 hour workshop with us from 10am teaching us how to needlefelt this little guy. The cost is £35 and that will include all materials and refreshments (I’m talking Cake 🥰)You can book this by ringing Craftopia on 01524 241221 or by popping in to the shop to book.
