Stargazing for Beginners @ Broadrake

Hopefully this will be the start of a local Astronomy group just a few miles from Ingleton.

Time 15:45 meet for 16:00 prompt start
Route 6 Miles , approx 4 -5 hours
Terrain – Stone tracks, fields and some steep rocky sections at the top of Ingleborough
Cost £30 per person inc food & drink at Crina Bottom
We will start the walk as a group with a walk leader at the front of the group and a leader at the back. Once we reach Crina Bottom farm house the route will be marked with reflective markers to the top of Ingleborough. You must not go ahead of the front walk leader on your way up or down. On return to Crina Bottom farmhouse & Kiosk you will enjoy a choice of hot food/drink and chance to enjoy the night sky from this remote location. Those who do not wish to commit to the full route can stay in the grounds of Crina Bottom by the fire pit and star gaze from there with a toasty drink before returning with the group to Ingleton. You must be confident walking a similar route in day light before booking onto this Torch Hike.
