Overground Underground Event – Bushcrafts, with Cave and Canyon @ Meadow Falls Campsite

Hour long workshops in Natural Firelighting and Spoon Carving.
Spoon Carving:
Our experienced instructor will give you a demonstration of the basic techniques to carve your own wooden camp spoon. You will then get to make your own spoon with our guidance. Although the initial session only lasts for 1 hour it will take longer than this for most people to craft their masterpiece so we are happy for you to stay after your session to complete it.
Natural Firelighting:
Ever wanted to know how the experts light a re in the wilds? Our experienced instructor will show you how to prepare a tinder ball and then light it with natural materials, before you get chance to have a go yourself. It may take longer than this hour long session to truly master fire, but you will be well on your way!

Cost: £10 per person for each workshop
Age: 10+, under 16s need to be accompanied by an adult. Please note some younger kids might not have the strength for spoon carving so please take into account your child’s ability when booking. Access: Unsuitable for wheelchairs and buggies
