What does canyoning entail?
• Abseiling down waterfalls
• Jumping into pools of deep water • Epic natural water slides
• Scrambling down rivers
We only use quali ed UK canyon guide instructors who will ensure your descent of the canyon is slick and exciting.
Trip details:
• This is a half day trip
• Action packed, epic adventure!
• You will be provided with the most up to date technical kit and equipment and of course the best canyoning wetsuit on the market.
• This activity involves extreme waterfall abseils, big jumps and slides.
• This is real canyoning and it will require nerves of steel!
• If you enjoy this activity you can also progress onto the UK Canyon Guide scheme.
This is the rst time real canyoning has featured in the Overground Underground Festival.

Hour long workshops in Natural Firelighting and Spoon Carving.
Spoon Carving:
Our experienced instructor will give you a demonstration of the basic techniques to carve your own wooden camp spoon. You will then get to make your own spoon with our guidance. Although the initial session only lasts for 1 hour it will take longer than this for most people to craft their masterpiece so we are happy for you to stay after your session to complete it.
Natural Firelighting:
Ever wanted to know how the experts light a re in the wilds? Our experienced instructor will show you how to prepare a tinder ball and then light it with natural materials, before you get chance to have a go yourself. It may take longer than this hour long session to truly master fire, but you will be well on your way!

Abseil into an 80 meter cave, Alum Pot and then complete a series of climbs and challenges along the way before exiting out of Long Churns
cave.
This is a fantastic opportunity to experience vertical caving in the Yorkshire Dales. (Must be confident at height).

Special Instructions: Included are a Petzl helmet and Petzl head lamp, thermal undersuit, caving suit, caving harness with bum pad, cows tales with two locking crabs, knee pads and wellies.
What you need to bring: Towel and a change of clothes. Our caving suits keep you dry but you still might get a bit damp. Change of socks in case you get mud down your wellies.
