June 2017 marks 100 years since Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s mother relocated away from Masongill Cottage after a 35 year tenure. On June 17th 2017 at 7.30pm,  ‘Don’t Go Into The Cellar’ will be performing ‘The Singular Exploits of Sherlock Holmes’ at St Oswald’s Church, Thornton-in-Lonsdale, where Conan Doyle married his first wife Louise in 1885.

Call in to ‘Uncle Jeremy’s Household’ shop, where they have tickets for ‘The Singular Exploits of Sherlock Holmes’ performance at St Oswald’s Church, Thornton in Lonsdale, 7.30pm Saturday 17th June. Tickets are £10.00 including refreshments and to help the audience get into the spirit of things, there is the option of dressing up as a character from a Sherlock Holmes plot. Uncle Jeremy’s Household will be awarding a prize of £100 for the most convincingly dressed audience member and we will repeat this when the show returns to perform at St Mary’s in Ingleton in November.
