Overground Underground Event – Stories in Stone Introduction to Caving @ Alum Pot Track, Selside – directions given when place(s) booked

Explore the beauty of underground Ingleborough. Stream ways, waterfalls, small climbs, walking, stooping and crawling is all part of the fun. Squeezes are optional. Learn about how the caves were formed and how we need to protect them too. We supply caving oversuits, helmets, lamps, belts, wellies, and all safety gear.
Dates: Mondays – 28th May; 23rd, 30th July; 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th Aug & 3rd September 2018
Time: 5.00pm – no later than 8.00pm Where: Alum Pot Track, Selside – directions given when place(s) booked Cost: £15 per person. These caving trips are being subsidised through Stories in Stone, a four-year programme of conservation and community projects concentrated on the Ingleborough area. The scheme has been developed by
the Ingleborough Dales Landscape Partnership and is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
Age: 8 +
Access: Unsuitable for wheelchairs and buggies
