Bentham Golf Club is working to promote local businesses, local networks and effective collaborations to support business ventures within our rural location.
As part of that, we would like to invite you to join us at our monthly business exchange, which will take place on the last Wednesday of every month from 4:30pm – 6:30pm.
The Business Exchange evenings are friendly, informal yet business orientated meetings, where like-minded people either working in business or running their own small to medium sized businesses in the Bentham area meet to support each other, make new contacts, learn new skills with the aim of expanding their business.
The next Business Exchange will be: Wednesday 29th March 2017.
(Please note: there won’t be a business exchange in December)
The business exchange is an ideal networking opportunity whether you offer insurance, accountancy services, dog walking or outside catering . And even more so if you want to help smaller businesses learn how to promote themselves better through social media or you are keen to help locals get fit and active…this event is one way to get those conversations started.
All you have to do is come along and leave a selection of promotional material on our display table and stay to talk to anyone else who may be present, if you’re able to.
It will give people the opportunity to browse the selection of businesses and services available to you in the area whilst also giving you the opportunity to share your story and skills with others who are present on the day.

You may know you exist but that doesn’t mean everyone else does. This is a free way to let more people know who you are and that you’re here with services or activities to offer. It is a chance to meet other business operators, pick their brains on trends or things they’re doing to diversify and possibly discover ways in which you can collaborate.
What if I don’t have much promo material?
That’s fine, you have a mouth so come along and tell people about it!
But I’m already really busy!
Great, we’re pleased to hear that things are going well for you but one day you might not be quite so busy and it’s handy to plant the seed ahead of those quieter periods. Not only that, you may need a hand with your accounts or marketing and someone who attends this exchange may be able to help you. It’s not just about promoting your business but about finding people to help you in business.
