Please advise me as to how many gardens are open and approximately how long it will take to view them all. I know that this could only be an approximation.
I am travelling in from south of Preston and I was hoping to walk around the waterfalls on the same day.
Just as a point of interest, I am active, fit and a brisk walker.
    Thanks. Jeff.

Thank you for your comment Jeff. There are over 20 gardens and it’s advised that you will need transport/a car to get to see some of them. Of course, when you pick up your programme in the village, you could look at the map and select which ones are within walking distance. The idea is that if you visit them all, you can take your time and make it last the weekend, but I’m sure you’d be able to do the Falls Trail and then select 10 or so for the afternoon. I hope this helps.
