What’s On

Events in Ingleton are wide and varied with something to interest you throughout the year.

These include 1940’s Weekend, Overground Underground Festival, Ingleton Gala & Mountain Race, Sheafstock, and Folk Weekend.  Ingleton also hosts its very own cycle sportive, Escape to the Dales.

From family friendly to the more specialised, you’re bound to find something new to take part in.

Overground Underground Festival Event – Intermediate Caving Trip with Yorkshire Dales Guides @ YDG Barn, Stainforth
Aug 12 @ 9:30 am – 2:00 pm

Explore deeper into the cave using ladders. This event is suitable for people with little or no experience of caving but want a more adventurous trip. We supply caving oversuits, eece undersuits, helmets, lamps, belts, wellies, and all safety gear.

Segway Sundays @ Bentham Golf Club

Enjoy a segway experience around our beautiful course, taking in views of the Yorkshire Dales, Forest of Bowland and the Lake District.
Come and experience a one hour adventure including time to familiarise yourself with a Segway followed by a tour of the golf course.

Overground Underground event – Discover Caving with Low Mill @ Low Mill Outdoor Centre

An introduction to what lies beneath the Yorkshire Dales. Exploring underground passages and learning about the cave environment.
The experienced cavers at Low Mill are very open and exible as to what they can offer and welcome you to contact them to say what you would like to get out of the day.
All technical equipment will be provided by Low Mill Outdoor Centre. Participants will need to bring a full change of clothes and wellies.
