What’s On

Events in Ingleton are wide and varied with something to interest you throughout the year.

These include 1940’s Weekend, Overground Underground Festival, Ingleton Gala & Mountain Race, Sheafstock, and Folk Weekend.  Ingleton also hosts its very own cycle sportive, Escape to the Dales.

From family friendly to the more specialised, you’re bound to find something new to take part in.

Learn to Climb at the Indoor Climbing wall. @ Inglesport Climbing Wall

Perfect for the absolute beginner to somebody that’s been climbing for years and wants to keep fit for the winter.
There is a qualified instructor on hand to help get everybody off the ground.
It’s £7.50 which includes Rock Shoes, Climbing Harness, Belay Device & Rope Hire.
It is run as a drop in session so call down to the Climbing Wall (up by the side of Langfords in the village centre) & stay an hour or stay for the full three hours. It’s up to you.

HSBC UK Breeze is the UK’s biggest programme ever to get more women riding bikes for fun and tness.
All rides are guided, and organised, by British Cycling trained volunteer Breeze Champions and offer women of all ages and abilities a friendly and supportive environment to build up cycling skills and con dence.

A weekend of ladies events at Escape Bike Shop – MTB coaching, basic maintenance and ladies Breeze ride. Deals all weekend for ladies only!

The ladies bikes maintenance will be 2pm-5pm on the Saturday – you will need to book in advance. The breeze ride will be 9.30 on the Sunday, again you should book in advance with Breeze Network – Ingleton & Kirkby Lonsdale.
